Alex Lichtblau

Alex was born in the Arizona desert, which may be why he is so drawn to the water. During a university biology field trip to the Galápagos in 2011, Alex learned to dive and was instantly hooked. Over the next two years he worked his way back onto the islands to gain diving experience in some of the most difficult and rewarding conditions on the planet. Once experienced, Alex decided to pursue diving as a career, and became a PADI instructor. He then worked in Roatán, Honduras for 2 years, and has since traveled the world diving and falling more in love with the ocean.

Alex has recently started a concierge dive travel business to help share his passion. He believes that even a brief glimpse into the world’s most precious resource, the ocean, can move people and inspire a sense of responsibility for the environment. He is now focused on creating guided ocean experiences to help foster respect for the ocean and natural world in general.
