Liah McPherson

Raised as a beach kid on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Liah has always been in love with the ocean.  A Biology and Psychology student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she researches phytoplankton, corals, and most passionately, dolphins.  For the past five years, she has been studying wild dolphins with the Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research and more recently with the Wild Dolphin Project.  An avid freediver, photographer and traveler, Liah is always searching for opportunities to explore and protect marine environments.
